The introduction of EtherCAT switch (AS-C6) can change simple linear topology structures and achieve multi-level star topology for complex on-site processes, achieving the effect of more than one output. When a device drops or is plugged in or unplugged on a certain port in the star topology structure, it will not affect the normal operation of devices on other star ports.

IN1: EtherCAT input port, connected to the front-end EtherCAT master station.

OUT2~OUT6: EtherCAT output port, connected to the downstream EtherCAT slave station.

Priority of output port data flow:OUT2>OUT3>OUT4>OUT5>OUT6.

Any slave station on the OUT2 branch has priority over all slave stations on the OUT3 branch, and so on.

When implementing a multi-level topology, execute with this priority.

The connection status on each branch does not interfere with each other, and when a branch on the switch fails, it will not affect the working status of other branches. The overall network topology is also clearer and easier to maintain in the later stage.

The AS-C6 switch adopts an aluminum shell design as a whole, which fully guarantees the anti-interference ability of the product in complex environments.
