Check weighing and sorting industry solution
High accuracy, flexibility, and powerful functionality.
Multilevel sorting is a technique that classifies products based on different weights. Traditional manual sorting is not only inefficient but also prone to human error. Therefore, automated multilevel sorting has become the mainstream trend in the market.
Industry background
Dynamic checkweighers, also known as weight sorters, are automated checkweighing devices widely used in production lines across industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, seafood, beverages, health products, cosmetics, electronics, daily chemicals, light industry, batteries, and packaging. They can detect the weight of products in real-time and handle non-conforming items accordingly.
Multilevel sorting is a technique for classifying products based on different weights. Traditional manual sorting is not only inefficient but also prone to human error. Automated multilevel sorting has thus become a mainstream trend in the market.
Multilevel sorting has a vast market in China and is widely used in the sorting of eggs, fruits, seafood, and meat and poultry. The mechanical structures vary for different products.
System principles
The automatic checkweighing sorter consists primarily of a power conveying section, weighing section, main controller (PLC), human-machine interface, and sorting rejection mechanism.
The power conveying section is composed of a motor driver, motor, transmission mechanism, and conveyor belt, primarily responsible for transporting items to be sorted.
The weighing section includes the scale platform, load cell, signal cable, and Xinje XD-E1WT-CW weighing module, primarily responsible for capturing and collecting the weight of items in motion online.
The main controller manages belt movement, interacts with the human-machine interface, processes and evaluates weight signals, and provides control signals for rejections as well as checkweighing results.
The human-machine interface handles human interaction tasks, parameter settings, and recipe storage. The sorting rejection mechanism executes the corresponding rejection actions based on instructions from the main controller.
